Holy Name of Mary Book Club

Purpose:

Holy Name of Mary Parish Book Club was established for the purpose of increasing one’s relationship with God through study, prayer, and action.

We engage in reading a variety of books that help us achieve this growth in our own personal faith journey as well as Church in community.

Our meeting sessions are based on the time needed to cover the material offered in the book. So, for example, we may meet for six consecutive Tuesday evenings, then break for a short time, resuming when a new book has been chosen. As a book is studied, connections are made to Scriptural passages, prayer experiences, the expertise of theological studies, and outreach to social justice issues that face us today.

Book Club is open to any adult.
